Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of HI3D.cc (the “Service”), operated by NorthBright Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying credits or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The Service

HI3D.cc generates 3D models from images and text using artificial intelligence, and provides tools to view, check, convert and download them. AI output is probabilistic: quality, likeness, materials and dimensions vary, and a model may differ from what you expected. We may add, change or remove features, and we may limit how many runs start each day; when that limit is reached, runs wait until capacity is available.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure.
  • The 40 sign-up credits are for one person trying the Service. Creating several accounts to collect them again, or to get around limits, is not allowed and may lead to the accounts being closed.

3. Credits, prices and payment

  • Runs are paid for with credits. The number of credits is shown on the button before you start a run.
  • Credits bought in packs don't expire. Credits included with a plan are reset to the plan's amount at each monthly refill and don't carry over.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred to another account or resold, and are a prepaid right to use the Service.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay; taxes are added where the law requires. We may change prices for future purchases.

4. How runs are charged

  • Credits are taken when a run starts.
  • If a run fails or times out, its credits are returned automatically. If a full-colour run fails after its shape preview, you keep the preview and the credits for the 4K run are returned.
  • If you stop a full-colour run within 30 seconds of its shape preview, the 60 credits for the 4K run (and any rigging credits) are returned.
  • If rigging fails, its 30 credits are returned and the model is kept.
  • We don't return credits for a finished run because the result isn't what you hoped for, but tell us if something looks broken and we'll look.

5. Subscriptions

Plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Invoices and billing in your account; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and no further charges are made. Yearly plans are billed once a year and refill their credits every month.

6. Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments for credits and plans are non-refundable. If you were charged in error, or a fault on our side cost you credits, contact us and we'll put it right. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the credits it bought are removed, and the commercial license for models made with those credits ends.

7. Your content

“Your content” means the images and text you submit and the models generated for you. As between you and us, you own your content; we claim no ownership of it. You give us permission to store, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the service providers that run it for us. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't publish it.

If you turn on a model's share link, anyone who has the link can view that model in 3D, with its name, until you turn the link off. They can't download its files, and the page isn't listed on the Service or indexed by search engines. You're responsible for what you share and who you share it with.

Uploaded photos and chosen concept images are deleted 30 days after the run. Models stay in your library while your account exists, until you delete them; you can delete any model from your library at any time, and its files are deleted with it. Credits spent on a deleted model aren't refunded. Download anything you want to keep; we aren't a backup service.

8. Licenses for generated models

  • Models made with purchased credits or during a paid plan may be used commercially, as described on the license page.
  • Models made only with the free sign-up credits are for personal use.
  • Models aren't exclusive: others may generate similar models. Copyright may not protect purely AI-generated material in your country, and we make no promise that it does.

9. Acceptable use

You must have the rights to what you upload, and you must not use the Service to create or distribute:

  • material that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, design rights, privacy or publicity rights;
  • a model of a real, identifiable person without their consent, or anything meant to deceive people about a real person;
  • sexual content involving minors, or sexual content depicting a real person;
  • firearms, firearm parts, or other weapons designed to injure;
  • content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful or threatening.

You also must not attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around its limits, or access it by automated means without our written permission. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

10. Rights complaints

If you believe something made with the Service infringes your rights, email hello@hi3d.cc with what you own, where it appears and how to reach you. We'll review clear reports promptly, remove infringing material we host (including turning off share links), and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and all models are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of dimensions, or suitability for printing or manufacture. Check models before you rely on them. Don't use them for parts where failure could cause injury or damage without independent engineering review.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, NorthBright Labs LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify NorthBright Labs LLC against claims arising from your content or from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of the law.

14. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account yourself from the Account page (or ask us to). Deleting your account deletes your models and their files straight away and ends any plan at once; unused credits and the rest of a paid plan period are not refunded. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms; if we close an account for a serious breach, unused credits are forfeited. Sections 6, 7, 8 (for models already made), 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive the end of this agreement.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify account holders by email or on the site before they take effect; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them. The date at the top shows the current version.
